It was right after I met the love of my life, February of 2023, that I was inspired to do Charcoal Lotus. It’s only my 5th Charcoal piece so far, however with it, as per usual, came floods of revelations and insights. This piece taught me fluidity, yet stability and precision with every mark. To keep it short and sweet, let everything you do be done with exact intention from the heart, coupled with clarity of the mind. -MA
